A completely predictable process is underway in Armenia: the current authorities are handing over Karabakh, military analyst Davit Jamalyan told a press conference Monday.

But in that case a logical question arises: What should be the authorities’ adequate and normal response to the current external threats aimed at the interests of the state? What should the responsible authorities do in such cases? Quickly prepare the country for defense," Jamalyan said.

Also, the military analyst noted the importance of the efforts to be made in the diplomatic arena. In his view, these efforts should be aimed also at eliminating the above-mentioned risks. However, as Davit Jamalyan noted, any diplomatic effort will be in vain if the country and its political leadership are nothing.
