The American company Tesla is recalling over 14,600 Model 3 electric vehicles in China due to problems with the software in displaying the speed of movement. This is stated in a message published on Friday on the website of the Chinese State Administration for Market Control.

From April 29, 1,850 Model 3 electric vehicles imported into the country, as well as 12,834 vehicles of this model manufactured in China, assembled from January 12, 2019 to March 25, 2022, are subject to recall.

In a statement, the department indicates that in the respective parties, problems with software that correctly displays the speed of the car on the speedometer may be identified. These problems can contribute to driver confusion and threaten road safety.

Tesla electric vehicles produced at different times, in particular the Model S and Model X, have already been withdrawn from the Chinese market several times due to a number of technical problems.
