French President Emmanuel Macron said that no one is considering the possibility of ending the war (in Ukraine) in the coming weeks or months. His remarks came while commenting on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's statement that it is necessary to end the war before the end of the year, CNN reported.

He expressed hope an “exit could be obtained at the end of the year," but "only with the certainty that Russia cannot and should not win.”

“Our support for Ukraine and our sanctions against Russia will be maintained as long as needed and with the intensity needed in the upcoming weeks and months.”
