Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov ordered the military to be ready for "immediate and decisive suppression of any possible provocation by the Armenian Armed Forces," Azerbaijani media reported during a staff meeting at the Central Command Post on Saturday.

The meeting analyzed the current operational situation "in Kelbajar and Lachin directions, as well as on the territories of deployment of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
