Several explosions occurred after the air raid sirens had blared out in Kyiv, Ukrinform reported.

According to preliminary data, 8 people were killed and another 24 civilians were injured as a result of the missile attack in the Shevchenkivskyi District of the Ukrainian capital.

Due to the concentrated shelling in Kyiv, the latter’s subway system stopped operations, informed the Kyiv city government staff. And all subway stations are working as shelters.

The buildings of the Philharmonic Hall, the Khanenko and Shevchenko museums were damaged as a result of these missile attacks in Kyiv. The Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, Oleksandr Tkachenko, wrote about this on Telegram.

Due to the concentrated attacks of the Russians in Lviv, the mobile communication was disrupted in the city, informed Mayor Andriy Sadovyi. Attacks on the energy infrastructure were recorded, informed Maksym Kozytskyy, Governor of Lviv Regional State Administration.

Three "attacks" were initially recorded in Kharkiv, Mayor Ihor Terekhov informed. "The energy infrastructure was hit. “Electricity has been cut off, there is no water supply in several areas of the city," he said.

A series of explosions took place in Dnipro city, too. According to a newspaper, an "attack" was recorded on a residential district of the city.

Explosions were reported in Zhytomyr and Kyiv, too.

Blasts rocked in Ternopil as well.

And the governor of Khmelnytskyi announced that the air defense is in operation in the region.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on these attacks launched against Ukraine on Monday morning.

"The 229th day of the full-scale war. On the 229th day, they [i.e., Russia] are trying to destroy us and erase us from the face of the earth. In one word, to destroy our people who are sleeping at home in Zaporizhzhia. Kill people who go to work in Dnipro and Kyiv. There are missile attacks. Unfortunately, there are casualties and wounded. Please, do not come out of shelters! Save yourself and your relatives. We are firm and will be strong," Zelenskyy said.
