The Turkish president responded to reporters' questions on the plane on his way back from Azerbaijan to Turkey, Milliyet reported.

In response to the question related to Armenia, Recep Tayyip Erdogan noted that Turkey sincerely expects that Armenia will consider the peace agreement proposed by Azerbaijan, which, according to him, is a historically good opportunity for peace.

"Undoubtedly, progress in Armenia-Azerbaijan relations will contribute to the normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations," Erdogan added.
