Turkey may send floating power plants to Romania to supply 300-400 MW of electricity to Ukraine, Karpowership CEO Zeynep Haresi told Anadolu Agency on Wednesday.

"We are negotiating about 300-400 MW of capacity. This capacity could provide electricity to one million households. We can send three or four ships to provide that capacity.

The floating power plants could be placed in different harbors, and power deliveries could begin within a month once the technical, commercial details, and security are finalized," Haresi said.

There are power lines between Romania, Moldova and Ukraine. We can station ships in Romania and Moldova and we can supply electricity to Ukraine through the power lines, he said.
