Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said Baku and Yerevan should sign a peace treaty to normalize relations.

"The Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is over, this conflict has already been resolved. Karabakh remains an integral part of Azerbaijan and will forever be so," Aliyev said Saturday.

"But, for now, peace has not yet been achieved. The peace treaty to be signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia will lead to peace. We have made our proposals and we still believe that a peace treaty must be signed. Otherwise, the risks in our region could increase," the Azerbaijani president added.
