Armenian minister of justice Grigor Minasyan received Dutch Ambassador Nicholas Schermers.

Minasyan presented the reforms of Armenia’s justice sector to the ambassador. In particular, reference was made to the reforms being implemented in the penitentiary and probation systems.

Ambassador Schermers, in turn, noted that the Netherlands will continue to assist the Ministry of Justice of Armenia to implement the planned large-scale reforms. Also, the ambassador proposed to discuss the possibility of Armenia's membership in the Hague international private law conventions in order to expand cooperation in the legal field.

Also, Grigor Minasyan and Dutch envoy discussed several other matters of mutual interest.
