Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and his delegation arrived in Adiyaman, in southeastern Turkey, where a search-and-rescue team from Armenia is assisting in the earthquake relief efforts.
Mirzoyan was welcomed at the Adiyaman airport by diplomat Ceren Yazgan, the coordinator of the international search-and-rescue teams in Adiyaman, Armenpress reports.
After holding a talk with Yazgan, the Armenian FM will meet with Armenia’s rescuers who are carrying out search and rescue operations in the city.
Serdar Kilic, Turkey’s special representative for normalization of relations with Armenia, is accompanying FM Mirzoyan during his visit to the earthquake disaster zone.
