The delegation of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, headed by Foreign and European Affairs Minister Jean Asselborn, paid an official visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex on February 22. The delegation was accompanied by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

According to the Genocide Museum, the guests were met by Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Harutyun Marutyan. The two ministers laid wreaths at the memorial commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide, then the guests laid flowers at the Eternal Flame and observed a minute of silence in memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide.

The guests visited the Alley of Remembrance, where Jean Asselborn watered the Christmas tree he planted on March 27, 2018 during his visit to Tsitsernakaberd.
