ICRC transports 24 people from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia and 19 in opposite direction

The staff of the International Committee of the Red Cross transported 24 people from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia and 19 in the opposite direction. The head of the ICRC delegation to Armenia, Zara Amatuni, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to her, a total of 296 people were transferred from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia and back.

From December 12, 2022 a group of Azerbaijanis in civilian clothes blocked the Stepanakert-Goris highway connecting Artsakh with Armenia at the Shushi-Karin junction for allegedly environmental reasons. Since December 13, the Azerbaijani side occasionally cuts off the gas supply to Artsakh.
