Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography (YSITC) on Thursday held a competition for the vacant post of YSITC Rector.

Two people had applied for the position: YSITC former vice-rector and screenwriter Sara Nalbandyan, and head of the YSITC education department Hasmik Israyelyan.

And as a result of the respective voting, Nalbandyan was elected rector, the YSITC Student Council of reports.
