Artsakh has never been and will never be part of independent Azerbaijan, and any discussion about it is unacceptable for us. Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) National Assembly (NA) speaker Artur Tovmasyan stated this at the NA Wednesday, adding that it is their “red line” and no one has the right to violate it.

According to him, what is happening in Artsakh is happening with the silent consent of the international community.

Tovmasyan noted that the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group and the leaders of these countries should understand that the annexation of Artsakh to Azerbaijan will lead to the de-Armenianization and destruction of Artsakh.

"We cannot change the world order. Little Artsakh does not pose any danger, but the right of our people to live safely and fully is at risk. Azerbaijan is deliberately starving the people of Artsakh and wants to exterminate them," the Artsakh parliament speaker said.

Also, the Artsakh MPs observed a minute of silence in memory of the four Artsakh soldiers who died today.

Earlier, Armenian News-NEWS.am reported that from 1:30am Wednesday, Azerbaijani armed forces’ units opened fire—from artillery—in the direction of the Armenian positions in the Martuni and Martakert regions of Artsakh, also using drones. As a result, the Armenian side has four casualties.
