The Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Defense Army did not carry out fortification work in Askeran and Karvachar regions of Artsakh, reported the press service of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of Artsakh.

The Azerbaijan MoD statement, claiming that between 10:05am and 2:55pm Tuesday, Artsakh Defense Army units carried out fortification work in the Askeran and Karvachar regions of Artsakh and which were allegedly stopped by the Azerbaijani army units deployed in the Azerbaijani-occupied areas of the aforesaid regions, is another disinformation.

The Azerbaijan MoD's false statements are clearly aimed at justifying periodic ceasefire violations by its own army units, the Artsakh MoD added.
