Another shameful incident happened today. At 6:00 in the morning, at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan, they did not give permission to enter Armenia without any explanation to Viktor Krivopuskov, a great friend of the Armenian people, declared persona non grata in Azerbaijan. The "Association of Armenian-Russian Friendship and Cooperation" NGO board members noted this in a statement they issued Thursday.

"If we try to list all those pro-Armenian cases, speeches, articles, the core of which is Krivopuskov's rightful position aimed at establishing the independence of Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)], the list will be long.

"It should be noted that in his interviews with the Armenian mass media, Russian intellectual and patriot V. Krivopuskov, well-versed in the history of the Armenian people, clearly defended the need for the full exercising of the right to self-determination of the people of Artsakh, and at the same time, he expressed surprise, to put it mildly, at the policy of the RA [(Republic of Armenia)] authorities not to settle the Artsakh issue, but to fail.

"We, the members of the [aforesaid] organization, condemn the arbitrary decision of the RA authorities against our colleague, which violates the rights of the individual and is illegal.

"We announce that we will continue cooperation with the ‘Russian-Armenian Friendship and Cooperation’ NGO headed by him; all obstacles are surmountable when the objective is righteous.

"Today, the opinion was confirmed once again that the opportunity to visit Armenia is prohibited to all those who are fighting to keep Artsakh as an Armenian territory," the aforementioned statement adds, in particular.

As reported earlier, Viktor Krivopuskov, Chairman of the Russian Association of Friendship and Cooperation with Armenia, was not allowed to cross the Armenian border at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan Thursday morning.
