Russian peacekeepers performed a feat in Nagorno-Karabakh. The first deputy chair of the Russian Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Vladimir Dzhabarov, told this to RIA Novosti.
"I believe that our peacekeepers performed a feat [in Nagorno-Karabakh], they stopped the bloody war in November 2020. But neither the Americans nor the French wanted that. If it were not for our peacekeepers, a great human tragedy would have happened there," Dzhabarov said.
In an interview to POLITICO Europe, however, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had stated that the Russian peacekeeping contingent had not fulfilled its task in Nagorno Karabakh.
