Turkey is considers supplying Bayraktar Akinci drones to Ukraine, according to Haluk Bayraktar, the CEO of Baykar, the company manufacturing Bayraktar drones. Bayraktar made this announcement in an interview with Azatutyun Radio, as reported by TASS.

He stated that the matter is currently under review, emphasizing that the Turkish government's permission is required for a company to produce a specific type of drone in Ukraine. He also said that defense cooperation required state permits, and they had that permit. Therefore, the issue of Akinci is in the process of consideration, he added.

Bayraktar also disclosed plans to complete the construction of a Bayraktar drone manufacturing plant in Ukraine within 1.5 years. The company intends to invest approximately $100 million in Ukraine, which will cover the construction of the factory, the needs of the company's service center, and its head office in Ukraine, he explained.
