A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan would have been organized in Kyrgyzstan if Pashinyan had come to the CIS summit, said Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, RIA Novosti reports.

“Here we agreed on contact with Aliyev, since he will be present. If Pashinyan had arrived, I give a 100% guarantee that a meeting with him would have been organized, of course,” he told reporters.

A meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS will be held in Kyrgyzstan on October 13. The presidents of the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will take part in it. Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan will not be present.
