We believe that the problems in the region should be solved pacifically, and we are making serious efforts in that regard. Mohammad Asadi-Mohaved, adviser of the cultural center of the Iranian embassy in Armenia, said this in Armenia during a conference Tuesday.
According to him, the policy of neighborliness being implemented by Iran is an important component of the development of the South Caucasus. The Iranian diplomat noted the importance of the work being carried out in this regard in order to prevent new sources of tension in this sensitive region.
He reminded that Iranian-Armenian relations have a history of 4,000 years, and noted the civilizational, historical, and geographical closeness of the two countries and peoples. Also, Asadi-Mohaved considered it important to use this basis for deepening relations between Armenia and Iran in all domains.
