Nearly half of American voters believe the US is spending too much on aid to Ukraine. The latest FT-Michigan Ross poll found that 48 percent of Americans believe the U.S. is spending "too much" on military and financial aid to Kiev, compared to 27 percent who said Washington is spending "the right amount" and only 11 percent who believe the U.S. is not spending enough.

The findings come at a time when Biden is struggling to convince Congress to approve a massive $111 billion security spending package that includes about $60 billion for Kiev, as well as funding for Israel and Taiwan.

It should be noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is scheduled to visit Washington to meet with Biden on Tuesday to "underscore the United States' unwavering commitment" to the country's military efforts.
