Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia sent a message of condolences to President Ebrahim Raisi of Iran, in connection with the tragedy in Kerman.

"It is with a heavy heart that I learned about the tragedy that happened in Kerman today, as a result of which innocent people were killed and injured.

“Your Excellency, at this difficult moment, on behalf of the people of the Republic of Armenia and myself, let me to send words of sorrow to all the relatives of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to all the wounded," reads the message.

A total of 103 people were killed and 211 others were injured after two explosions Wednesday in Kerman Martyrs Cemetery in Iran where thousands of people were observing the fourth anniversary of the killing of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani as a result of a US airstrike in Baghdad.
