Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Oleksandr Syrskyi as the new commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, UNIAN reports.
Syrskyi carries the rank of Colonel-General.
Previously, this position was held by Valeriy Zaluzhny, whose dismissal was reported by Western mass media.
