Political figure Aleksey Navalny has died in Correctional Colony No. 3 of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region, reports the local department of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service.
Kira Yarmysh, the press secretary of this opposition politician, had reported Wednesday that Navalny was sent to solitary confinement for the 27th time during his imprisonment.
Aleksey Navalny was 47 years old.

According to the forensic medical examination, the clot was broken. Navalny had fallen ill and lost consciousness after a walk in prison. Doctors tried to revive him, but they could not.
