US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has said that aggression should never be left unpunished, “Voice of America” reports.

His statement came as Russia's invasion of Ukraine entered its third year.

"If we allow this to go unpunished, then we are opening a Pandora's box and it will be repeated in all parts of the world,

"If you give a potential aggressor the message that aggression will go unpunished, you open Pandora's box, and others may follow his example," Blinken said in an interview with Univision television.

According to him, this is why so many countries are so insistently defending Ukraine: it is both right, reasonable and necessary.
