The son of the chairman of Sudan's Sovereign Council, Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, is in the intensive care unit of a hospital after an accident in Ankara, DHA reports.

Mohamed-Fattah Al-Burhan had a road accident in the Turkish capital. He was riding a motorcycle and crashed into the car in front. The motorcycle overturned and its rider was thrown a few meters away. The paramedics who arrived at the scene found him to be severely injured.

Mohamed-Fattah Al-Burhan was taken to a hospital, where he is at the intensive care unit. His injuries are life-threatening.

The driver of the car that was hit by the motorcycle was taken into custody.

The police are investigating the circumstances and causes of this accident.
