In honor of International Women's Day, US Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien hosted a roundtable discussion with inspiring peacebuilders who are leading efforts to bring peace to the South Caucasus region, informed the US Embassy in Armenia.
During the discussion, Ambassador Kvien learned about their important work to support peace dialogues, conflict prevention training, educational initiatives, and cross-border journalism programs.
Ambassador Kvien emphasized US support for civil society peace building efforts, and the importance of empowering women to participate meaningfully at all levels of conflict prevention.
