YEREVAN. – The statue of famous Armenian benefactor Alexander Mantashyan will be placed in downtown Yerevan soon.

As the press service of Yerevan City Hall informed Armenian News-NEWS.am, the author of the statue is sculptor Tigran Arzumanyan.

To remind, Yerevan City Hall came up with a decision about placing Mantashyan’s sculpture in downtown Yerevan on June 10, 2011.

The preparation works for placing the statue have already started.
