YEREVAN. – According to a source close to the opposition Armenian National Congress Party, its leader and First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan is going to stop cooperation with the non-pro-government Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) in February or March, Iravunk daily reported.

“He is convinced that the things to be received from the PAP are about to end, but instead, the risk of being absorbed by the PAP is completely real.

“They say the ‘nation’s choice’ is just waiting for a convenient excuse which will enable to both discredit the former comrade-in-arms and leave nicely. [And] if this option does not work, the leaving will be gradual, with the technology of ‘being forgotten,’” Iravunk reported.
