YEREVAN. – Nubarashen Prison’s inmate Arthur Hovhannisyan declared termless hunger strike, Aravot daily writes.

“The person in charge of the Prison’s press relations confirmed information on the hunger strike. Arthur—who is 1st-degree disabled, suffers from Hepatitis C, and has undergone a lung surgery—resorted to hunger strike because of the prosecutor’s recent motion to sentence him to 8.5 years in prison. The court has not yet ruled on the judicial act,” Aravot writes.
