YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: Zhoghovurd daily had written in its February 4 issue that a subcommittee on cooperation with the regions of the Russian Federation will be set up within the Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration of the NA [National Assembly], when there is currently in parliament the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the RA National Assembly and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, led by parliament vice speaker Alen Simonyan.

The subcommittee (…) dealing with these issues was approved yesterday.

This means that the parliament leadership is dissatisfied with the work of the committee headed by Alen Simonyan (...).

(…) life shows that Armenian-Russian relations are not warming in any way; they remain at the level of words.
