YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: According to Zhoghovurd daily’s information, the RA Ministry of Defense has not yet decided what position to appoint Artak Davtyan, the former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, who was fired on June 8, a day after his son's wedding ceremony.

And so, as a result of the discussions, they decided it would be better to take Artak Davtyan to the Collective Security Treaty Organization [(CSTO)].

By the way, according to the rumors spread in the ministry, RA Prime Minister’s adviser Arshak Karapetyan, "who is a close friend of Artak Davtyan," is showing activeness in appointing Davtyan to any position.
