YEREVAN. – Past daily of Armenia writes: The Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] war, which has been going on for about 40 days already, is quite severe and cruel in its kind.

Much has been said about the peculiarities of this war, and one of its essential circumstances is Turkey's active involvement in this war. According to factual data and the conviction of many analysts, Turkey is the very "godfather" of unleashing the war.

In addition to the fact that Turkey supplies weapons and ammunition to Azerbaijan, according to international media reports, it has taken full control of the managing of the [Azerbaijani] army, too, and does not allow Azerbaijani generals, who have become the puppet of the Turkish military, to interfere in these affairs.

In fact, the head of the artificial [Azerbaijani] state, Ilham Aliyev, is also in the state of a puppet of [Turkish president] Erdogan. Naturally, the generals of Baku did not like what is happening in the Azerbaijani army, and there is information that a wave of serious discontent may rise—even at the level of the uprising.

If we add to this the reliable information that the ethnic minorities—the Talysh, the Avars and the Lezgins—living in Azerbaijan were complaining that their children were drafted into the army more and, together with the mercenaries, are made "cannon meat," the picture would be more complete.

That is to say, Azerbaijan is living quite difficult days—not only on the battlefield, but also in the rear.
