YEREVAN. – Armenia (Nov-Dec 2.1%) occupies 12th position among post-Soviet states yielding only to Georgia (1.4%) on consumer inflation for the last 11 months of 2011. Belarus heads the list with 104 %, BelaPAN informs.
Tajikistan (9.1%), Moldova (7.6%), Kazakhstan (7.0%), Russia (5.6%), Kirgizstan (4.6%), Azerbaijan (4.5%), Ukraine (4.4%), Latvia (4.0%), Lithuania (3.6%), and Estonia (3.5%) follow Belarus. No information on Turkmenistan (decrease in prices by 1% in Jan-Sept) and Uzbekistan (increase by 4.5% in Jan-Sept) was available.
Armenia occupies 2d position on consumer inflation in Nov (1.2%), yielding to Belarus (8.1%) but ahead from Azerbaijan (1.1%), Georgia, Kirgizstan, Moldova (0.7%), Kazakhstan (0.6%), Russia (0.4%), Lithuania and Tajikistan (0.2%), Ukraine and Estonia (0.1%). No changes took place in Latvia.
