Caspian Airlines maintained the July 15 crashed TU-154 for 22 years, not 15, as it was declared earlier. Spokeswoman of Commercial Aviation Authorities Nelly Cherchinyan stated, that the aircraft was produced in 1987, whereas Caspian Airlines was established in 1993. Cherchinyan said that has no information of the aircraft previous owner. Yesterday it was reported, that the plane was leased from the Russian producer.

TU-154 heading Tehran-Yerevan route crashed at 11:33 a.m. local time near Qazvin with 168 passengres aboard, including 15 crew members. All were reported dead. There were over 30 Armenians, of which 5 – Armenian citizens, NEWS.am informs.
