Azerbaijan’s denial of cooperation stipulated in the frames of Eastern Partnership program might jeopardize the whole project. December 8, RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian stated at the Dec. 8 meeting of FMs in the framework of Eastern Partnership program.
In his speech, RA Foreign Minister underlined that Armenia seeks to expand relations with EU, emphasizing significance of regional cooperation in the frames of EP program.
“Such behavior of EU partner discredits the cooperation idea and lack of appropriate assessment by member states devalues it even more,” FM stated.
Foreign Ministers of Eastern Partnership program actors as well as EU member states, representatives of European Commission, CoE and European Parliament participated in the meeting chaired by Swedish FM Carl Bildt, RA Foreign Ministry press service informed NEWS.am.
Next meeting is scheduled for the second half of 2010 just as Eastern Partnership summit.
