Around 20 000 Tamiflu doses (flu treatment and flu prevention drug) will be imported to Armenia shortly, said RA Health Minister Harutyun Kushkyan speaking in RA Parliament.

He called the population not to surrender to panic, as the situation with flu spread in the country is fully controlled. “All medical facilities operate around-the-clock, health care centers are supplied with necessary quantity of Tamiflu, that will be prescribed to the patients when necessary”.

The Minister forecasted decrease of virus spreading tendency in 2-3 months, adding that beyond swine flu a number of seasonal flu and other respiratory diseases are raging today. It should be noted that 49 swine flu infection cases are registered in Armenia.
