Past daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: There is no need to reinvent the wheel. Security is not an emotion or a toast, security is a clear calculation, concrete allies and real power. The summit of the European Political Community held in Yerevan recently and the statements (including by [Azerbaijani president] Aliyev) made within its framework made the biggest danger hanging over Armenia even more obvious; namely, Armenia no longer has any security guarantor.

The only real goal of the forums held in Armenia and the "voyages" of Western leaders is not even hidden by anyone: it is to completely drive Russia out of here. The West is consistently solving its problem, "caressing" [Armenian PM] Pashinyan in the meantime, because the latter is no less consistently fulfilling the task assigned to him.

And what awaits Armenia and the Armenian people as a result? Many political scientists clearly state that if Russia were not in our region as a tough military force, the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem would simply swallow Armenia. Direct evidence of this was Aliyev’s “remote” speech, which Pashinyan even thanked. And the calculation is simple: the old ally [i.e. Russia] is being “expelled” from here, but the new ally does not actually exist (Europe and, in general, the collective West will not bring troops to defend Armenia). As a result, a complete security vacuum is created, which Azerbaijan longs to fill with its military aggression.

There is only one question: does our society [in Armenia] fully realize that these [Armenian] authorities have destroyed our only security architecture, and now we [i.e. Armenia] could remain all alone and without a guarantor face to face with a predator that is sharpening its teeth?
