Today Iran successfully tested Sajjil-2 missile system, Press TV reports.

According to foreign media, state television broke the news with a report about testing of an initial version of the solid-fuel missile system. The surface-to-surface missile range of about 1,200 miles can reach even south-eastern Europe.

“The deterrent system was build as part of an effort to design a more accurate and swift missile than previous Iranian-made models,” Press TV website reads.

Iran has recently intensified its missile industry that aroused concerns of western countries.
