Special investigation department completed the proceedings initiated by Tumanyan office, Lori region accusing the Head of criminal investigations department A. Grigoryan in hooliganism.

The preliminary investigation showed that Grigoryan’s son – V. Grigoryan and his friends – H. Sargsyan and Vanadzor habitant V. Galstyan on August 17, 2009 interposed in a quarrel with Gyumri residents A. Papikyan and A. Isknadaryan in a “Rossia” restaurant on Spitak-Vanadzor highway, RA Prosecutor General’s press office informs. The young men also cursed and used violence causing Papikyan and Isknadaryan slight bodily injuries.

Based on evidences, A. Grigoryan, V. Grigoryan and H. Sargsyan are accused under RA Criminal code articles 258, Part 3, Point 1, whereas V. Gastyan – RA Criminal Code article 258, Part 3, Points 1 and 3.

The criminal case is sent up to the Court of general jurisdiction of Lori region for further investigation.
