Dec. 19, three Georgian teens, detained November 4 in South Ossetia, were released and handed over to parents. The South Ossetian President Eduard Kokoity pardoned Levan Khmiadashvili, Victor Bichukuri and Georgy Archvadze, Interfax informs.

Eduard Kokoity called the teens’ release a gesture of goodwill in the course of a meeting with Zurab Noghaideli, leader of the Movement for Fair Georgia party.
Noghaideli pledged to assist the tackle the issue with South Ossetian citizens, held in detention in Georgia, Vesti reports.

As NEWS.am reported previously, four Georgian teens from the village Tirdznisi were arrested by the South Ossetian side on Nov. 4. They were accused of keeping explosions and illegally crossing the border. Two of them, both 14 years old – were released on December 2 and two others were sentenced to a year's imprisonment.
