In the course of his visit to UK, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu delivered a speech at the Kings College London, voicing Turkey’s stance on regional developments.
Asked whether relations with Armenia will be restored with no preconditions, Davutoglu replied: “Turkish authorities do their utmost on the matter. Turkey reckons that with restoration of relations with Armenia the tension in the region will be relieved. We wish to see the region with vehicles going from Baku to Nakhchivan through Karabakh and reaching Kars safely. There are few summit meetings on resolution of the issues in the Caucasus. In this context, for the relaxation of regional tension the mutual economic ties should be strengthened,” Turkish Haberturk e-source informs.
