January 20, 2010 at 6:03 local time another 6.1 magnitude strong earthquake hit Haiti.

According to U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was epicentered at the depth of 9.9 km, approximately 60 km south-west of the capital Port-au-Prince. No tsunami alert was issued.

No report on fatalities and destructions is available, CNN informs.

As NEWS.am reported previously, January 12, 2010 a 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit Haiti followed by 5.9 and 5.5 aftershocks. According to Haitian Government officials, death toll may reach 500.000.
