Pope Benedict XVI called on catholic priests to use new communication tools on the Internet during the 44th World Day of Social Communications. According to lenta.ru, Pope added that priests should use the Internet for evangelization.

“Priests can rightly be expected to be present in the world of digital communications as faithful witnesses to the Gospel,” the CatholicCulture.org website quotes Pope.

May 14, 2010 is the World Day of Social Communications organized by Vatican. However, the message of Pope is issued beforehand to enable the faithful to familiarize themselves with it.
