Today, January 27 is the commemoration day of the Holocaust victims – genocide of Jews by Nazi during the World War II.

Red Army liberated the largest Nazi camp- Auschwitz 65 years ago.

At a rough estimate, the number of victims totaled 1.5-2 million people, citizens of 20 countries. Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu will participate in the events in Auschwitz (territory of Poland).

Commemoration candles will be lighted also in Jewish community center in Moscow, as well as remembrance services will be conducted in all synagogues.

In 2007 UN General Assembly adopted resolution condemning negation of Holocaust as a historic fact.
