“Karabakh peace process is backpedaled due to protraction of Armenia-Turkey Protocols’ ratification,” Georgetown University Associate Director for the Eurasian Strategy Project Cory Welt stated.

“Though RA Constitutional Court emphasized that the Protocols are not related to other issues, it did not consider the political developments that Turkish Parliament expects certain steps from Armenia on Karabakh prior to ratification. Currently, it is essential to continue the dialogue both on Protocols and Karabakh conflict settlement. If one of the processes fails, the other one will fail too,” he outlined.
