Today, Feb. 3 RA NA former MP Sasoon Mikayelyan, imprisoned after the 2008 presidential elections and being currently in hospital for convicts was taken to Nork-Marash hospital for heart test.

At the moment it is unclear how long he will stay in the hospital.

After the detention for March 1, 2008 events Sasoon Mikayelyan was diagnosed with respiratory and heart problems. Last December former MP underwent several surgeries on respiratory organs.

Last week RA Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan sent a letter to RA Minister of Justice Gevorg Danielyan with a request to allow checkup of Sasoon Mikayelyan in a civil hospital.
