February 4, 2010, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will leave for a three-day visit to Berlin. Today, he will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. In the course of the meeting, the officials will discuss energy projects, EU-launched Eastern Partnership project as well as bilateral cooperation.
February 5, Aliyev will participate in Munich Security Conference. He will meet with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg.
As NEWS.am reported earlier, February 4, James Steinberg starts his visit to Armenia. He will hold meetings with RA President Serzh Sargsyan and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
Thereafter, the U.S. diplomat will leave for Tbilisi to meet Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and opposition representatives. February 5, Steinberg will arrive in Munch to participate in the conference and meet with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
