Deputy Head of RA Presidential Staff Vigen Sargsyan will visit U.S. to participate in public discussions on prospects of Armenia-Turkey reconciliation.
February 11, Permanent Representative of Turkey to UN Ertugrul Apakan will act as opponent to Armenian representative in the discussion initiated by The New Century Foundation and Fletcher Club in New York.

Sargsyan will also deliver a speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington. Meetings with U.S. State Department top officials are also scheduled in the course of the visit.

As NEWS.am reported earlier, February 4, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg visited Armenia and met with RA President Serzh Sargsyan. The officials exchanged views on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Armenia-Turkey normalization process and bilateral relations.
