In the course of his visit to Baku, Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov.

According to Izrus website, the officials discussed a number of bilateral issues, as well as security and other international problems.

The head of Nativ (The Liaison Bureau) Naomi Ben-Ami, Chiefs of Eurasia-1 and Eurasia-2 departments of Israeli Foreign Ministry Yakov Livne and Yuval Fuks, as well as Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan Michael Lavon-Lotem attended the meeting from Israeli side.

Last time Lieberman and Mammadyarov met in Athens on December 1, 2009.
